form of art that is movement of the body, usually rhythm and beat to music.
Used as a form of expression, social interaction and can be used in performance
settings.
Dance has evolved into so many styles including lyrical,tap,jazz,ballet and hip hop. Every style gets intertwined, somehow, and all involve not only flexibility but physics. Different types of dance emphasize different movements and techniques.
Free Flow Academy offers the following styles of dance:
Ballet, which sets the foundation for all types of dance, has mandatory positions and steps as well as foot work and good posture .
Jazz combines the same strength and stretch of ballet with the nontraditional movements of modern. Other types of dance, such as tap and hip hop, use the body in even different ways, but the above all engage the whole body.
Tap Commonly considered both a form of dance and music, bringing together syncopation, choreography and percussion using the feet to produce the rhythm, tap dance brings Jazz to a whole new level.
Irish Dance A group of traditional dance forms originating in Ireland which can broadly be divided into social dance and performance dances. It can also be a very competitive dance, it requires alot of work to get to the top, It originates from ireland but the phenomina has spread all across the world, only the coolest people do irish dancing!!! As well as the styles listed above we also offer the chance for you or your child to become a part of the Free Flow dance team. Team performs and competes regularly at scheduled competitions, conventions, and events.

Flow Glee Star! For all of you glee watchers, here is your chance
to shine. Being able to sing and dance is a talent we at free flow feel
we need to embrace. We will cover all types of songs from oldies to top
hits. We will perform and compete at scheduled venues and travel as well.
We will have post dates for open auditions and can't wait to see you all
there!
